1st Technical Seminar 31st January, 2009 in UET, Lahore
Pakistan Foundry Association organized its first Technical seminar of the year 2009 at University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore on 31st January, 2009.
The issue to be discussed was “Foundry Problems”. The seminar was chaired by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ajmal (Chairman- Department of Metallurgy & Materials Engineering, UET, Lahore) also accompanied by Mr. Munir Ahmed (Consultant-PSQCA), Mr. Asim Qadri (General Secretary-PFA), Mr. Irfan Ahmed (Joint Secretary-PFA) and Mr. Muhammad Yousaf Shahzad (Secretary-PFA).
Mr. Munir Ahmed and Prof. Qasim Zaidi discussed the issue of “Foundry Problem” and answered the questions of the participants regarding foundry issues
2nd Technical Seminar 18th March, 2009 Faisalabad
2nd Technical Seminar was organized on 18th March, 2009 at Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Faisalabad. The seminar was chaired by Seth Muhammad Iftikhar (President Faisalabad Foundry Industry Group) accompanied by Mr. Munir Ahmed (Consultant-PSQCA), Mr. Irfan Ahmed (Joint Secretary-PFA) and Mr. Muhammad Yousaf Shahzad (Secretary-PFA).
Mr. Munir Ahmed shared his valued knowledge with the participants and also answered their queries regarding foundry problems.
3rd Technical Seminar 6th May, 2009 University of the Punjab, Lahore
Pakistan Foundry Association organized a Technical Seminar on 6th May, 2009 at University of Punjab in collaboration with the Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, university of the Punjab, Lahore.
Technical Seminar was chaired by Prof. Dr. Javed Ahmed (Dean-Deptt. Of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, university of the Punjab), also accompanied by Mr. Munir Ahmed (Consultant-PSQCA), Prof. Dr. Rafiq Ahmed (Chairman- Deptt. Of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, university of the Punjab), Mr. Irfan Ahmed (Joint Secretary-PFA) & Mr . Muhammad Yousaf Shahzad (Secretary-PFA).
The issue to be discussed was “Quality Foundry Practices”. Mr. Irfan Ahmed Joint Secretary-PFA opened the house. He gave an introduction of Pakistan Foundry Association also appreciated the support of University of Punjab to organize such type of events to create awareness among people regarding foundry issues.
Mr. Munir Ahmed (Consultant- PSQCA) delivered a lecture on the issues and also discussed some foundry problems. Questions/ Answers session was held at end of the program.
Mr. Asim Qadri (General Secretary- PFA) was also present there. The seminar was attended by more than 200 participants.
