Foundation of cluster development is laid by establishing training institute for foundry technologies with SMEDA under the management of University of Engineering & Technology. Foundry School at University of Engineering and Technology Lahore established in 2012.
The operation of Foundry Service Center at Lahore will enable the foundry sector to avail the modern facilities like Computer Aided Pattern Designing, Material Testing, Training and R & D.
